Monday Movers – Top 10 ASX Companies Today

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 29 June 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index retreated 1.5 percent today to wipe out the gains from last Friday as outlook for lockdown measures is seemingly looking less optimistic.

Energy, real estate and travel stocks were amongst the standouts for the slump. Webjet (ASX:WEB) fell 5.3 percent while Qantas (ASX:QAN) and Fight Centre (ASX:FLT) both declined 5 percent.

Notable companies from O&G giants such as Beach Energy (BPT) suffered 5.6 percent while Origin Energy (ASX:ORG) traded 4.4 percent lower.

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (ASX:URW) plunged 6.1 percent, Stockland Group (ASX:SGP) retreated 5.9 per cent and Growthpoint Properties (ASX:GOZ) fell 1.8 percent to round up the hardest-hit in the Real estate sector.

Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

Auteco Minerals Ltd (ASX:AUT)
Emerging mineral exploration company AUT saw its shares effectively doubled today. It was recently announced that AUT was on course for its first 5,000-metre diamond drilling program at Pickle Grow Gold Project in Uchi sub-province of Ontario, Canada, targeting high-grade, shallow gold targets (Source: Proactive Investors)

Brockman Mining Ltd (ASX:BCK)
WA-based junior hematite explorer jumped 35 percent today. Brockman’s hematite projects are located in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia, adjacent to the core tenements of Western Australia’s other major iron ore developers. Brockman’s principal projects include the Marillana Project, the Ophthalmia Project and few other minor exploration projects in the area. Among all projects, the Marillana Project is of the largest in scale, with approximately 1.63 billion tonnes of hematite Mineral Resources. Contained within the Mineral Resource is 1 billion tonnes of hematite Ore Reserves. The distance between the tenements and Port Hedland (being the largest port in the Western Australia) is approximately 270 kilometres. Centaurus Metals Ltd (ASX:CTM)
Emerging iron ore company CTM saw its share traded 34.3 percent higher after announcing today that it discovered a maiden nickel resource for its Brazil-based Jaguar project, with the majority of the resource within 200m of surface. The maiden JORC-compliant resource for Jaguar totals 48 million tonnes at 1.08% nickel for 517,500t of contained nickel. (Source Small Caps)

Great Southern Mining Ltd (ASX:GSN)
Junior mineral explorer surged 31.3 percent having just recently commenced drilling at its Cox’s Find gold project in WA earlier in June The drilling program will be carried out in two phases with the first of around 5,000 metres of RC drilling and 500 metres of diamond core drilling focusing on delineating the extent of high-grade mineralisation identified previously.

Metalicity Ltd (ASX:MCT)
WA-based gold explorer MCT soared 26.7 percent today having recently announced promising results from drilling at its Kookynie gold project in WA. The first 11 holes of the initial 44-hole program confirmed extensive high-grade, near-surface gold mineralisation at the Leipold prospect, with 10 holes returning a significant intercept. 10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 5 October 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index rallied 2.6 percent on the first full trading week of October to mark its best trading session in three months.

Banks were in rosy territory as Westpac Banking Corp (ASX:WBC) jumped 4.4 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) surge 4.2 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) soared 4 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) spiked 3.6 percent and Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) gained 3 percent.

Iron ore miners
cruised as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) unearthed 2.9 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) rose 2.4 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) ascended 2.2 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) slid 0.5 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’
coasted to a good fortune as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) flew 6.3 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) added 3.9 percent and Openpay (ASX:OPY) firmed 1.1 percent. Afterpay (ASX:APT) ended slightly lower at 0.2 percent deficit.

Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

RareX Limited (ASX:REE)
Rare earths specialist REE rocketed 39.1 percent on Monday having seen recent good results last Wednesday of spectacular thick high-grade results from in-fill drilling.

Dreadnought Resources Limited (ASX:DRE)
Nickel, copper and gold greenfield explorer DRE surged 34.6 percent as recently high-grade gold discovery in the Metzkes’ Find boosted its performance.

Euro Manganese Inc. (ASX:EMN)
Europe-based ultra high purity manganese producer EMN soared 32.4 percent after recent Tesla’s recent shift in focus to manganese and nickel for its battery cathodes during their battery day held on 22 September.

Vection Technologies Limited (ASX:VR1)
Multinational software company that specializes in 3D, VR, AR, IOT and CAD solution VR1 jumped 30.8 percent after announcing it has joined facebook ISV program & launches Mindesk 2020.4. FYI Resources Limited (ASX:FYI)
Fully integrated, high quality, high purityhalumina (HPA) producer FYI rose 21.7 percent to round out the top 5. FYI announced last Monday that it has commenced detailed HPA development trials.

TGIF Top 10 ASX Companies

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 2 October 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index dropped 1.4 percent on Friday, losing 2.9 percent for the week and 13.4 percent down for the year.

Banks
were in the red as Westpac (ASX:WBC) slid 2.1 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) droped 1.9 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) lost 1.8 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) fell half a percent.

Iron ore producers
were caught out mostly as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) sank 3.6 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) skidded 3.2 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) dropped 1.9 percent  with Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) rising 0.8 percent,

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector nosedived as Openpay (ASX:OPY) backed down 3.8 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dipped 2.9 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) declined 1.7 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) went down a single percent.

Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

Metro Performance Glass Limited (ASX:MPP)
Leading glass supplier and manufacturer MPP skyrocketed 50 percent on Friday. In a recent report by Digital Journal, the double glazing glass market is allegedly worth USD 27.4 billion by 2025 growing of CAGR of 5 percent.

DGR Global Limited (ASX:DGR)
Copper ores company DGR soared 13.8 percent on Friday. DGR is the largest shareholder of Armour Energy (ASX:AJQ) who just did a capital raise of AUD 15million, up from the previous AUD 10 million target.

Tesoro Resources Limited (ASX:TSO)
Chilean-based gold and copper explorer Tesoro Resources Ltd (ASX:TSO) is up 12.5 percent after increasing its El Zorro land position by 50 percent on 23 September.

Genetic Signatures Limited (ASX:GSS)
Molecular Diagnostics (MDx) specialist  GSS rose 11.8 percent after announcing positive Q3 sales of approximately AUD 10.5 million or 50 percent higher than Q2.

Optiscan Imaging Limited (ASX:OIL)
Microscopic imaging company finished 11.1 percent higher after entering into two consecutive trading halts in the week of 21 September, following a capital raise announcement.

Thursday’s Top 10 Companies On The ASX

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 1 October 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index recovered 1 percent to mark the best start to the fourth-quarter since 2015 as large miners boosted the index.

Banks ended well as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) grew 1 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) both climbed 0.7 percent while Westpac (ASX:WBC) and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) both closed 0.5 percent higher. 

Iron ore producers were the star performers as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) jumped 2.3 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) rose 1.9 percent and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) firmed 1.2 percent.

BNPL sector reversed Wednesday’s decline as Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) surged 7 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) soared 6.4 percent, OpenPay (ASX:OPY) added 3.9 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) finished 0.6 percent higher.

Change Financial Limited (ASX:CCA)
Global innovative fintech in payments, CCA skyrocketed 33.3 percent after completing a strategic acquisition today of beleaguered Wirecard NZ and Australia assets. This addition expands 120 customers and adds capabilities in 35+ countries to further widen its global workforce.

Envirosuite Limited (ASX:EVS)
Global leader in environmental intelligence, EVS soared 25.8 percent after reporting AUD 14.7 million in sales for Q1 FY21 including 50 contract renewals globally.

Iron Road Limited (ASX:IRD)
South-Australian iron ore explorer rose 25 percent after its Cape Hardy project jointly developed with Macquarie Capital entered into development phase.

Artemis Resources Limited (ASX:ARV)
Gold and copper focused mining company ARV jumped 23.8 percent after appointment of Mr. Boyd Timler as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect. Boyd is a veteran in the resources industry with over 38 years of working experience.

Piedmont Lithium Limited (ASX:PLL)
Emerging lithium chemicals company PLL traded 23 percent higher to finish top 10 twice in 3 days this week. PLL recently announced it has resumed drilling in its North Carolina’s Tin-Spodumene Belt along its core and central properties.
