The S&P/ASX200Index recovered 1.49 percent today but still fell short of 0.7 percent for the week.
The Banks aided in the recovery as Westpac(ASX:WBC) rose 3.3 percent,ANZ (ASX:ANZ) firmed 3 percent,National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) gained2.7 percent and Commonwealth Bank (ASX:CBA) traded2.4 percent higher.
Miners improved slightly across the big 3 as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) closed 2.9 percent higher,Fortescue Metals Group firmed 2.2 percent and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) advanced 2 percent.
National carrier Qantas (ASX:QAN) continues its drag to lose a further 9 percent today after completing its AUD 1.36 billion placement at AUD 3.65 a share.
Rumble Resources Ltd (ASX:RTR) Perth-based minerals explorer RTR topped the table with a 27.3 percent increase. On Wednesday, it announced that it has begun begins its major drilling program at the Western Queen Gold Project in WA
White Energy Co Ltd (ASX:WEC)
Queensland-focused coal company WEC went up a further 22.7 percent today after being in Top 5 on Thursday. The S&P/ASX200 Index rallied 2.6 percent on the first full trading week of October to mark its best trading session in three months.
Banks were in rosy territory as Westpac Banking Corp (ASX:WBC) jumped 4.4 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) surge 4.2 percent,National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) soared 4 percent,Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) spiked 3.6 percent and Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) gained 3 percent.
Iron ore miners cruised as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) unearthed 2.9 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) rose 2.4 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) ascended 2.2 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) slid 0.5 percent.
‘Buy-now, pay-later’ coasted to a good fortune as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) flew 6.3 percent,Splitit (ASX:SPT) added 3.9 percent and Openpay (ASX:OPY) firmed 1.1 percent. Afterpay (ASX:APT) ended slightly lower at 0.2 percent deficit.
RareX Limited (ASX:REE) Rare earths specialist REE rocketed 39.1 percent on Monday having seen recent good results last Wednesday of spectacular thick high-grade results from in-fill drilling.

Banks were in the red as Westpac (ASX:WBC) slid 2.1 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) droped 1.9 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) lost 1.8 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) fell half a percent.
Iron ore producers were caught out mostly as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) sank 3.6 percent,BHP Group (ASX:BHP) skidded 3.2 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) dropped 1.9 percent with Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM)rising 0.8 percent,
‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector nosedivedas Openpay (ASX:OPY) backed down 3.8 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dipped 2.9 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) declined 1.7 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) went down a single percent.

The S&P/ASX200 Index recovered 1 percentto mark the best start to the fourth-quarter since 2015 as large miners boosted the index.
Banks ended well as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) grew 1 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) both climbed 0.7 percent while Westpac (ASX:WBC) and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) both closed 0.5 percent higher.
Iron ore producers were the star performers as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) jumped 2.3 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) rose 1.9 percent and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) firmed 1.2 percent.
BNPL sector reversed Wednesday’s decline as Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) surged 7 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) soared 6.4 percent, OpenPay (ASX:OPY) added 3.9 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) finished 0.6 percent higher.
