TGIF Top 10 ASX Companies

The S&P/ASX200 Index recovered 1.49 percent today but still fell short of 0.7 percent for the week.

The Banks aided in the recovery as Westpac (ASX:WBC) rose 3.3 percent, ANZ (ASX:ANZ) firmed 3 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) gained 2.7 percent and Commonwealth Bank (ASX:CBA) traded 2.4 percent higher.

Miners improved slightly across the big 3 as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) closed 2.9 percent higher, Fortescue Metals Group firmed 2.2 percent and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) advanced 2 percent.

National carrier Qantas (ASX:QAN) continues its drag to lose a further 9 percent today after completing its AUD 1.36 billion placement at AUD 3.65 a share.

Rumble Resources Ltd (ASX:RTR)
Perth-based minerals explorer RTR topped the table with a 27.3 percent increase. On Wednesday, it announced that it has begun begins its major drilling program at the Western Queen Gold Project in WA

White Energy Co Ltd (ASX:WEC)
Queensland-focused coal company WEC went up a further 22.7 percent today after being in Top 5 on Thursday.
