Mid-Week Top 10 ASX Companies



10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 15 July 2020

The S&P/ASX 200 Index recovered 1.9 percent in one of the best single-day performance in July.

Mining and iron ore were the star performers as Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) climbed 3.7 percent and Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) rose 3.4 percent and BHP Group (ASX:BHP) firmed 2.5 percent.

Travel and airlines stocks fared well as booking site Helloworld (ASX:ALO) surged 9.2 percent, A2B Australia (ASX:A2B) soared 6 percent and national carrier Qantas (ASX:QAN) ascended 4.3 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ giant Afterpay (ASX:APT) gained 2.4 percent but other BNPL providers were in the red as Openpay Group (ASX:OPY) plunged 11.8 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) dipped 6.7 percent and Sezzle (ASX:SZL) slid 7.8 percent.

Australian Mines Ltd (ASX:AUZ)

Immutep Ltd (ASX:IMM)
Cancer Immunotherapy biotech company IMM surged 34.5 percent after announcement of the United States Patent Grant for IMP701 Antibody.

Pointerra Ltd (ASX:3DP)
Oz-based 3D data specialist 3DP soared a further 34.4 percent after Monday’s announcement on receiving an AUD 2.5 million placement from serial tech entrepreneur, Bevan Slattery. The proceeds from this raise will go towards 3DP’s global expansion plans in Australia and U.S.

Family Zone Cyber Safety Ltd (ASX:FZO)
Parental control tech company FZO rose 33.9 percent having recently posted its biggest sales for June as they added 482 US schools and 214,000 students to its subscription-based platform of a total 598 schools and 358,000 students. (Source: Small Caps)

Nuheara Ltd (ASX:NUH)
Smart wearable tech company NUH finished 29 percent higher. It was recently announced on ReportLinker: “The global wearable computing devices market accounted for 181.5 million units in 2019, and it is expected to reach 520.1 million units by 2025, registering a CAGR of 19.9% over the forecast period (2020-2025)”
