The S&P/ASX200 Index declined 1.2 percent as iron ore large caps and biopharma giant CSL all tumbled on Thursday.

Banks grew marginally as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) firmed 0.1 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) grew 0.3 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) climbed 0.9 percent while Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) fell 1.1 percent.

Iron ore producers dragged the index as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) plunged 6.4 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) crashed 3.4 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) retreated 1.8 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) lost 0.8 percent.

Elsewhere, one of the largest stock on ASX, CSL (ASX:CSL) tumbled 1.9 percent while BNPL sector weakened after Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dropped 10.5 percent and Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) ended 7.1 percent lower and Afterpay (ASX:APT) dipped 5.4 percent.

Cyclopharm Ltd (ASX:CYC)
Innovative solutions provider in nuclear medicine CYC continues its amazing run to finish 34.4 percent higher after Wednesday’s surge a day after announcing on Tuesday that its Technegas USA trial has met with great success with primary endpoint.

Alicanto Minerals Ltd (ASX:AQI)
Copper-gold explorer with multiple projects across the world, AQI surged 28.1 percent after Tuesday’s announcement as it commences drilling at Greater Falun in the Bergslagen region, Sweden.

Big River Gold Ltd (ASX:BRV)
Brazil-based gold explorer BRV soared 24 percent after releasing an update to shareholders about its development of its Borborema project.

PYC Therapeutics Ltd (ASX:PYC)
Drug development company PYC rose 17.9 percent after releasing positive financial statements for FY20 on Monday.

Caeneus Minerals Ltd (ASX:CAD)
Gold-lithium-nickel explorer CAD jumped 16.7 percent after completing airborne datapoints for its Roberts Hill and Mt Berghaus tenements on Tuesday.

The S&P/ASX200 Index recovered 1 percent after rallying amongst the Tech sector.

Tech sector including BNPL followed the frenzy as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) leaped 9 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) jumped 6.1 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) grew 4 percent. Nearmap (ASX:NEA) rose 5.1 percent while Megaport (ASX:MP1) gained 3.9 percent.

Banks closed mostly flat as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) firmed 1 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) bounced 0.2 percent but Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) dipped 0.3 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) retreated 0.1 percent.

Iron ore miners finished mostly in the green as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) took 1.4 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) climbed 0.6 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) closed 0.1 percent higher while Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) declined 2 percent.

East Energy Resources Ltd (ASX:EER)
Queensland-based coal explorer EER skyrocketed a massive 1,100 percent on Monday in what is the best Top 10 performance since the inception of StockPal (for Market Cap. Above AUD 50m). EER is primarily focused in the Eromanga Basin and has a JORC Resource of 1.74Bt of Thermal Coal (627.5Mt Indicated and 1113Mt Inferred) located south west of the major deposits of Hancock Coal and Waratah Coal in the Galilee Basin.

ASX and NASDAQ dual-listed lithium producer PLL jumped 20 percent today. PLL recently announced it has resumed drilling in its North Carolina’s Tin-Spodumene Belt along its core and central properties.

The S&P/ASX200 Index dip slightly at 0.08 percent as banks fell. Gold miners on the other hand managed to record a good run on Tuesday.

Banks dragged the index down as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) fell 1.9 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) retreated 1.7 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) dipped 1.5 percent and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) dropped 1.4 percent.

Gold miners had a good field day as Silver Lake Resources (ASX:SLR) surged 8.2 percent, Perseus Mining (ASX:PRU) soared 6.2 percent and Resolute Mining (ASX:RSG) jumped 5 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector were mostly up Sezzle (ASX:SZL) rocketed 14.2 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) flew 3.9 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) gained 3.4 percent while Splitit (ASX:SPT) slid 0.3 percent.

EcoGraf Ltd (ASX:EGR)
Supplier of environmentally friendly natural flake and battery (spherical) graphite products, EGR skyrocketed 64 percent on Tuesday having seen its share price flew 51 percent on Monday. On 17 August, EGR announced significant battery recycling results on the ASX.

Los Cerros Ltd (ASX:LCL)
Junior gold and copper explorer LCL soared 44.8 percent after announcing on the exchange that they secured AUD 10 million in private placement for its multi-rig drilling programs

88 Energy Ltd (ASX:88E)
Alaskan North Slope Oil Explorer 88E surged 33.3 percent having recently announced substantial upgrade to the Net Pay encountered on the Charlie-1 appraisal well, drilled earlier this year on the North Slope of Alaska. Rapidly evolving oil and gas exploration company BLU jumped 26.4 percent after releasing its annual report to shareholders earlier today.

Andromeda Metals Ltd (ASX:ADN)
Industrial minerals focused explorer for gold, lithium and copper, ADN rose 26 percent today after the bell. ADN’s major project is the Poochera Halloysite-Kaolin Project in South Australia between Andromeda Metals and Minotaur Exploration Limited (ASX:MEP) and contains the world class halloysite-kaolin Carey’s Well deposit.
