The S&P/ASX 200 Indexretreated1.3 percent after Tuesday’s record high growth in over 4 months.
Healthcare sector led the decline as Mesoblast (ASX:MSB) plummeted 6.8 percent, Pro Medicus (ASX:PME) fell 6.2 percent and PolyNovo (ASX:PNV) dipped 5.1 percent while Biopharm giant CSL (ASX:CSL) stumbled 3.6 percent.
Miners performed mixed as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) lost 3.4 percent but Resolute Mining (ASX:RSG) and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) firmed 12.9 percent and 1.3 percent respectively.
Energy stocks fared better as Woodside Petroleum (ASX:WPL) grew 1.3 percent and Beach Energy (ASX:BPT) advanced 4.7 percent.
Pointerra Ltd (ASX:3DP) Oz-based 3D data specialist 3DP soared a further 37.5 percent after last Monday’s announcement on receiving an AUD 2.5 million placement from serial tech entrepreneur, Bevan Slattery. The proceeds from this raise will go towards 3DP’s global expansion plans in Australia and U.S.
Silver Mines Ltd (ASX:SVL) NSW-based silver miner SVL surged 22.2 percent as silver prices hit record high since 2016. Silver has a plethora of uses from medicinal, electrical, computer components, ionization and jewelry.
Clean TeQ Holdings Ltd (ASX:CLQ) Metals recovery and water treatment specialist CLQ grew 21.9 percent after it announced that CLQ and Relativity Space, Inc. are jointly developing applications for Scandium Aluminium Alloys for 3D Printing of Rockets (Source: Global Newswire)

The S&P/ASX200 Index declined 1.2 percentas iron ore large caps and biopharma giant CSL all tumbled on Thursday.
Banks grew marginally as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) firmed 0.1 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) grew 0.3 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) climbed 0.9 percent while Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) fell 1.1 percent.
Iron ore producers dragged the index as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) plunged 6.4 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) crashed 3.4 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) retreated 1.8 percentand Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) lost 0.8 percent.
Elsewhere, one of the largest stock on ASX, CSL (ASX:CSL) tumbled 1.9 percent while BNPL sector weakened after Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dropped 10.5 percent and Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) ended 7.1 percent lower and Afterpay (ASX:APT) dipped 5.4 percent.

Innovative solutions provider in nuclear medicine CYC continues its amazing run to finish 34.4 percent higher after Wednesday’s surge a day after announcing on Tuesday that its Technegas USA trial has met with great success with primary endpoint.

Tech sector including BNPL followed the frenzy as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) leaped 9 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) jumped 6.1 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) grew 4 percent. Nearmap (ASX:NEA) rose 5.1 percent while Megaport (ASX:MP1) gained 3.9 percent.

The S&P/ASX200 Index dip slightly at 0.08 percent as banks fell. Gold miners on the other hand managed to record a good run on Tuesday.
Banks dragged the index down as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) fell 1.9 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) retreated 1.7 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) dipped 1.5 percent andNational Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) dropped 1.4 percent.
Gold miners had a good field day as Silver Lake Resources (ASX:SLR) surged 8.2 percent, Perseus Mining (ASX:PRU) soared 6.2 percent and Resolute Mining (ASX:RSG) jumped 5 percent.
‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector were mostly up Sezzle (ASX:SZL) rocketed 14.2 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) flew 3.9 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) gained 3.4 percent while Splitit (ASX:SPT) slid 0.3 percent.
EcoGraf Ltd (ASX:EGR) Supplier of environmentally friendly natural flake and battery (spherical) graphite products, EGR skyrocketed 64 percent on Tuesday having seen its share price flew 51 percent on Monday. On 17 August, EGR announced significant battery recycling results on the ASX.
