10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 13 July 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index recovered nearly 1 percent back by strong performance in European and US futures.

Mining and resources giants performed admirably after rising iron ores prices as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) surged 3.4 percent to close at an all-time high, BHP Billiton (ASX:BHP) firmed 2.2 percent and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) grew 1.9 percent.

Financials sector put up a good show as Platinum Asset Management (ASX:PTM) soared 6.8 percent and Commonwealth Bank (ASX:CBA) rose 2.1 percent.

Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

Prospect Resources Ltd (ASX:PSC)
Junior battery minerals miner PSC skyrocketed 62.5 percent to top the table today. Last Monday, PSC had picked Renaissance Securities Capital as its exclusive financial advisor for the possible sale of shares in Zimbabwe’s Arcadia Lithium mine to Russian energy firm Uranium One. (Source: NASDAQ)

Openpay Group Ltd (ASX:OPY)
Rising BNPL star OPY soared 38.7 percent today with many comparing OPY with APT’s remarkable rise in recently months but also concerns of a bubble around the whole BNPL sector including Z1P and SZL. OPY has gained more than 650% to date since the end of March.

Race Oncology Ltd (ASX:RAC)
Specialty pharma RAC rose 24.5 percent after securing AUD 3 million strategic investment capital from three prominent Oz-based biotech investors. This raise will be used to fund the bisantrene phase two combination Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) trial slated to begin at the end of 2020.

Vip Gloves Ltd (ASX:VIP)
Clinical glove manufacturer gained 23.6 percent amid growing demand globally for PPE and clinical consumables in the current COVID-19 pandemic. Macquarie Bank recently gave a positive forecast on the industry as countries worldwide are racing to contain the virus.

Respiri Ltd (ASX:RSH)
Respiratory tech RSH finished 19.6 percent higher to squeeze into the top 5. CEO and MD, Marjan Mikel, recently mentioned in an interview that health insurers have increased spending preventative health sector particularly for mature products like RSH.

    10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 2 November 2020

    The S&P/ASX200 Index ended slightly higher 0.4 percent to recover slightly from last week’s deficit.

    Banks were mostly in the green as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) rose 2.4 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) grew 1.2 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) gained 0.5 percent while Westpac Banking Corp (ASX:WBC) slid 0.6 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) traded 0.2 percent lower.

    Iron ore miners were mostly climbers as Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) added 1.2 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) both edged 0.1 percent while Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) dipped 0.9 percent. 

    ‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector performed poorly as Splitit (ASX:SPT) plunged 8.6 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) crashed 3 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) dived 1.9 percent and Zip Co (ASX:Z1p) slashed 1.2 percent. Afterpay (ASX:APT) firmed 1.6 percent however.

    Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

    Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited (ASX:TLX)
    Clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company TLX surged 29 percent after TLX and China Grand Pharma announced strategic licence and commercial partnership for the Greater-China market.


    Estrella Resources (ASX:ESR)
    WA-based gold and nickel explorer continues its impressive run to soar 27.6 percent after a significant massive nickel sulphide discovery at its Carr Boyd project earlier in October.


    88 Energy Limited (ASX:88E)

    Alaska-based energy explorer 88E jumped 16.7 percent after releasing positive quarterly results.


    Primewest Group (ASX:PWG)
    Property investment portfolio manager PWG gained 12.4 percent. PWG is one of Australia’s leading private estate funds management businesses.


    VIP Gloves Limited (ASX:VIP)

    KL-based OEM nitrate gloves producer VIP added 11.7 percent to continue its fine run since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic as demand for surgical and hygienic gloves is growing globally.     10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 30 October 2020

    The S&P/ASX200 Index fell 0.6 percent on Friday to mark a disappointing 3.9 percent deficit for the week – the worst since April.

    Banks ended mixed as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) edged 1.3 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) grew 0.6 percent and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) finished flat while and Westpac (ASX:WBC) dipped 0.2 percent and Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) closed 0.9 percent lower.

    Iron ore producers were also in mixed territory as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) surged 4.5 percent and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) charged 1.6 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) crashed 0.6 percent and BHP Group (ASX:BHP) lost 0.7 percent.

    ‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector was all under par as Splitit (ASX:SPT) and Sezzle (ASX:SZL) both plummeted 4.5 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) and Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) both plunged 4.3 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) retreated 2.9 percent.

    Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

    iCar Asia Limited (ASX:ICQ)
    South-east Asia-based number one online car marketplace ICQ surged 31.82 percent on Friday after receiving an acquisition proposal from Autohome Inc. to acquire 100 percent of ICQ’s shares at AUD 0.50 cash per share. ICQ also announced it will drawdown AUD 1 Million of AUD 5 Million loan facility agreement with Catcha Group Pte Ltd.

    AnteoTech Limited (ASX:ADO)
    Surface chemistry company ADO soared 19.79 percent after releasing its latest quarterly activities report with a very productive quarter and establishing key platforms for growth.

    AMP Limited (ASX:AMP)
    Leading oz-based wealth management jumped 19.53 percent after receiving an indicative, non-binding, conditional proposal from US-based Ares Management Corporation to acquire 100 percent of AMP’s shares by way of scheme arrangement.

    Fluence Corporation Limited (ASX:FLC)
    World-class decentralised water, wastewater and reuse treatment provider rose 15.56 percent after Thursday’s announcement that its Fluence-Ivory Coast project’s conditions precedent was met.

    Genetic Technologies Limited (ASX:GTG)
    Diversified molecular diagnostics company GTG finished 14.29 percent higher after releasing its latest quarterly activities report comprising of cash balance of AUD 18.1 million including July’s capital raise of AUD 7.2 million.

    The S&P/ASX200 Index finished on a low, losing 1.6 percent amidst uncertainty in COVID-19 status worldwide.

    Banks continues its losing streak as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) plunged 2.8 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) crashed 2.4 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) retreated 2 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) dumped 1.5 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) dipped 0.5 percent.

    Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

    Xplore Wealth Limited (ASX:XPL)
    One of Australia’s leading independent platform providers and investment administrators, XPL skyrocketed 187.9 percent after they entered into a binding Scheme Implementation Agreement with HUB24 Limited (ASX:HUB) as the latter looks to acquire 100 percent of XPL’s shares.

    Credit Clear Limited (ASX:CCR)
    Newly-listed Australian receivables management solution provider CCR continues its fine second trading day on the ASX with a decent 16.4 percent increase. CCR is a FinTech founded in 2017 who has developed a proprietary digital billing and communication technology platform which allows organisations to manage communications and payment arrangements with their customers through an interactive digital and mobile interface as part of a full-service receivables suite of services.

    4DS Memory Limited (ASX:4DS)
    Semiconductor development company of non-volatile memory technology, 4DS surged 15.4 percent after releasing its annual report to its shareholders.

    BluGlass Limited (ASX:BLG)
    Australian semiconductor technology developer BLG jumped 15 percent after announcing that they are to contribute laser diode development to Yale University for US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) program.

    Droneshield Limited (ASX:DRO)
