10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 16 July 2020

The S&P/ASX 200 Index fell 0.9 percent after recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Victoria area and record-high unemployment rate.

The giant miners reversed some of the gains on Wednesday as with Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) fell 1.4 percent and BHP Group (ASX:BHP) slipped 0.6 percent.

Travel and leisure stocks carried its momentum from yesterday as Experience Co (ASX:EXP) surged 4.6 percent, Flight Centre (ASX:FLT) soared 3.5 percent and Qantas (ASX:QAN) firmed 1.7 percent.

‘Buy now, pay later’ fell for a second day, Openpay Group (ASX:OPY) plunged 12.4 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) slumped 9.6 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dropped 7.3 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) slid 1.1 percent.

Genetic Technologies Ltd (ASX:GTG)|
Molecular diagnostics company GTG skyrocketed 109.1 percent after an update earlier today on its COVID-19 Disease Severity Test. The COVID-19 Severity Risk Test comprises a polygenic risk test (PRS) and assessment for clinical risk factors.

Anteotech Ltd (ASX:ADO)
Brisbane based biotech ADO soared 63.6 percent today after contributing to a new 15-minute test for COVID-19, harnessing nanocoating to speed up results for saliva and blood tests. (Source: Business News Australia)|

Resource Generation Ltd (ASX:RES)
Energy resources company RES jumped 28.6 percent after they released terms sheets for the funding of the Rail Link to connect the Boikarabelo Coal Mine to the Transnet Main Line (Source: Money Web)

Kingsgate Consolidated Ltd (ASX:KCN)

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 9 September 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index dived 2.2 percent having reached as low as 2.6 percent at mid-day amidst NASDAQ’s correction in Tech sector in the last 3 days.

The Energy sector were amongst the worst performers after weaken oil prices as Beach Energy (ASX:BPT) nosedived 9.2 percent, Oil Search (ASX:OSH) declined 7.8 percent, Origin Energy (ASX:ORG) gave up 5.5 percent, Santos (ASX:STO) closed 5.4 percent lower and Woodside Petroleum (ASX:WPL) ended 4.4 percent worse.

Tech sector including BNPL followed the frenzy as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) slumped 7.5 percent, Megaport (ASX:MP1) plunged 6.1 percent, Appen (ASX:APX) slid 4.1 percent, Nearmap reduced 3.7 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) dipped 2.0 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) fell 1.3 percent.

Banks reversed Tuesday’s charge as Westpac (ASX:WBC) crashed 3.3 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) plummeted 3 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) retreated 2.6 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) fell 2.5 percent percent.

Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

ReRam memory maker 4DS and financials-play Digital Wine Ventures topped the charts with a massive leap in share price and distancing themselves from the rest of the table.

4DS Memory Ltd (ASX:4DS)
Non-volatile memory and ReRam developer 4DS spiked 46 percent to top the charts despite no major announcements on the ASX.

Digital Wine Ventures Ltd (ASX:DW8)
Early stage technology-driven ventures investor DW8 soared 35 percent having launched their WINEDEPOT marketplace on Monday which offers direct-to-trade users access to credit as a service.

Archer Materials Ltd (ASX:AXE)
Material tech company AXE rose 17 percent on Wednesday. AXE is developing materials in quantum computing, biotechnology, and lithium-ion batteries, and exploring for minerals in Australia. The Company has strong intellectual property, broad-scope mineral tenements, world-class in-house expertise, a unique materials inventory, and access to over $300 million of technology development infrastructure.

AnteoTech Ltd (ASX:ADO)
Surface chemistry company ADO surged 16.7 percent after announcing Progress High Sensitivity COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Toward Full Commercialisation.

Wiluna Mining Corp Ltd (ASX:WMX)
Perth-based gold miner WMX traded 12.9 percent higher after releasing exceptional high-grade drilling results last Monday.

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top At Mid-Day - 9 Sep 2020
The S&P/ASX200 Index nosedived 2.6 percent at mid-day after sell-out in US tech stocks to record its lowest point since 30 June 2020. The ASX 200 Energy sector was the worse performer at mid-day, declining 4.3 percent while Financials and Consumer Discretionary sectors were both down 3 percent. Tech followed closely at 2.9 percent in the red.

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 8 September 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index clawed back 1.1 percent on Tuesday, lifted by the major banks, miners and biopharceutical giant, CSL (ASX:CSL) who finished 2.1 percent higher.

Banks led the charge as National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) both jumped 1.7 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) added 1.6 percent and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) improved 1.3 percent.

Iron ore miners had a good field day as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) rallied 3.5 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) rose 1.4 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) firmed 0.9 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) gained 0.7 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector continues its downward spiral post-Paypal’s entry as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dived 3.2 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) plunged 2.2 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) fell 1.8 percent and Splitit (ASX:SPT) declined 1.7 percent.

Dotz Nano Ltd (ASX:DTZ)
Authentication technology company DTZ surged 32.5% after signing an agreement to supply the advanced ‘Secured by Dotz’ authentication solution for respiratory face masks and other PPE equipment in North America. Brainchip Holdings Ltd (ASX:BRN)
AI and neuromorphic processor company BRN soared 30.4 percent after last week’s agreement to collaborate with VORAGO Technologies through the Akida Early Access Program.

GWR Group Ltd (ASX:GWR)
Wiluna West Gold Project miner and explorer GWR jumped 26.8 percent. On 28 August, GWR received mining approval for its mining and other permits at the C4 deposit enclosed in its Wiluna West iron ore project.

Clean Teq Holdings Ltd (ASX:CLQ)
Melbourne-based metals recovery and industrial water treatment producer CLQ surged 26.2 percent after releasing on Monday its capital structure update after 350k options exercisable at AUD 0.95 had lapsed.

Buddy Technologies Ltd (ASX:BUD)
Innovative smart bulb and home tech company BUD impressive run continues as the company grew 19.4 percent having recently announced the world-first disinfecting anti-bacterial smart light for its LIFX series.
