Thursday’s Top 10 Companies On The ASX

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 2 July 2020

The S&P/ASX 200 Index jumped 1.7 percent after strong performances overnight on Wall Street.

Banks performed well as ANZ (ASX:ANZ) rose 2 percent while Commonwealth Bank (ASX:CBA), Westpac (ASX:WBC) and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) all advanced 1.8 percent.

Miners performed as well as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) improved 0.5 percent and Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) gained 2 percent.

Tech stocks closed strongly as Afterpay (ASX:APT) continues its amazing run to surge 9.5 percent, WiseTech (ASX:WTC) firmed 6.2 percent, Bravura Solutions (BVS) rose 4.8 percent, and Nearmap (ASX:NEA) gained 4.7 percent.


Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

Osteopore Ltd (ASX:OSX)
Biotech company OSX skyrocketed 108.8 percent today after getting approved for craniofacial application in the US under its US FDA 510k clearance. The Company intends to sell all existing craniofacial products in the US.

Tuas Ltd (ASX:TUA)
Singapore-based telco TUA surged 35.3 percent today. This came after its was divested from TPG Corporation Ltd (ASX:TPM) with the new entity called TPG Telecom Ltd (ASX:TPG)

PharmAust Ltd (ASX:PAA)
Clinical-stage oncology company PAA soared 31.2 percent today. In its shareholder update last Wednesday, it was announced began working with the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research to investigate the effects of MPL and monepantel sulfone (MPLS) on the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19 infections. FBR Ltd (ASX:FBR)
Robotic technology company FBR rose 29.4 percent today after news broke that they signed a display home contract with Archistruct Builders & Designers which will see the company supply its bricklaying service, Hadrian X, for the construction of a display home in Western Australia

SRG Global Ltd (ASX:SRG)
Perth-based engineering specialist company SRG shot up 29 percent. SRG specialises in civil construction, building and mining and due to COVID-19, the response is a slimmed-down business and lower-cost base with the outlook to focus on its core business and customers. (Source: The Rum Rebellion)

Monday Movers – Top 10 ASX Companies Today

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 14 September 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index recovered 0.7 percent on Monday aided by the big miners while tech sector continues its slump.

Banks were up across the board as National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) grew 1.5 percent, Westpac Banking Corp (ASX:WBC) added 1 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) jumped 0.9 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) rose 0.6 percent.

Iron ore miners
had a good field day as Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) charged 3.9 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) climbed 3.6 percent,Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) advanced 2.1 percent and BHP Group (ASX:BHP) rallied 1.9 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ and Tech sector
continues to show weakness after PayPal joined the fray last week as Splitit (ASX:SPT) dipped 6.1 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) plunged 5.8 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) lost 1.9 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) dropped 1.8 percent.

The Citadel Group Limited (ASX:CGL)
Software and services company CGL surged 40 percent after Pacific Equity Partners submitted their proposal to acquire Citadel

Deep Yellow Limited (ASX:DYL)
Specialist differentiated uranium company DYL soared 34.6 percent after recent recommencement of its drilling program in Tumas Project, Namibi

NetLinkz Limited (ASX:NET)
Virtual invisible network provider NET jumped 26.9 percent after recording strong earnings for FY20 with revenue up 846%

New Century Resources Limited (ASX:NCZ)
Base metal development company NCZ rose 26.1 percent having recently rejected the acquisition of Vale Nouvelle-Caledonie’s (VNC) nickel and cobalt mines on the Pacific island of New Caledonia from Brazilian miner Vale. (Source: Mining Technology)

Seafarms Group Limited (ASX:SFG)
Seafood producer SFG closed 18.2 percent higher having recently been announced by the Aussie government of its plan to upgrade and seal a 7.5 kilometer stretch of road loading to Legune Station, the site for the farm and associated infrastructure of Project Sea Dragon, the 7,000-hectare black tiger shrimp operation planned by Seafarms Group. 10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 11 September 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index retreated 0.8 percent after the bell as the top 15th stock exchange in the world recorded its fourth-week of straight losses.

Banks had a poor showing as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) both declined 1 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) fell 1.1 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) closed 1.4 percent lower.

Iron ore producers ended mostly lower as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) tanked 3.1 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) dipped 1.7 percent and BHP Group (ASX:BHP) lost 1.2 percent. Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) fell 0.6 percent after its CEO stepped down earlier on Friday.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector were mostly in the red after new entrant Laybuy (ASX:LBY) descended 9.4 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) plunged 9 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) plummeted 2.3 percent but Splitit (ASX:SPT) regained 4.7 percent.

Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

The standout performers for this week are DevEx Resources, 88 Energy and Amaero International having all three gaining over 40 percent in share price appreciation over the past week,

DevEx Resources Ltd (ASX:DEV)
NSW and WA-based metals explorer DEV soared 28 percent on Friday and closed almost 50% higher for the week. DEV is currently exploring five projects in gold, copper, nickel, PGE and Uranium.

MyFiziq Ltd (ASX:MYQ)

Zoono Group Ltd (ASX:ZNO)
Antimicrobial sanitizer company ZNO jumped 17.7 percent on Friday, bring the share price up 12.8 percent for the week. ZNO has benefitted immensely from this COVID-19 pandemic having seen its share price hit $3.20 at one point which is nearly 5 times since the beginning of 2020.

88 Energy Ltd (ASX:88E)
Oz-based exploration & production company 88E rose 16.7 percent to close a massive 40 percent higher for the week after final petrophysical interpretation, using sophisticated Laminated Sand Analysis, substantially upgrades net hydrocarbon pay in the Charlie-1 well

Livehire Ltd (ASX:LVH)
Recruitment and talent mobility software provider LVH climbed 15.9 percent as announced on 10 Sep, 15mins before market close, that Rajarshi (Raj) Ray, joins the Board of LiveHire as a Non-Executive Director as the Company. Raj’s executive career has included Coopers & Lybrand, American Express and most recently as the CEO of Class – Australia’s leading SaaS provider of superannuation.
