10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 30 September 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index plummeted 2.3 percent on Thursday to cap off a poor month and lost 1.4 percent collectively for Q3.

Iron ore miners were a drag to the index as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) nosedived 3.5 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) crashed 1.7 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) retreated 1.6 percent while Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) lifted 0.9 percent.

Banks were in the red as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) lost 2.3 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) gave up 2.2 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) slid 2.1 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) fell 1.9 percent and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) closed 1.8 percent lower.

BNPL sector followed trend as Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) slashed 3.6 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) dipped 2.2 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dumped 1.6 percent and Openpay Group (ASX:OPY) traded 1.4 percent lower.

Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

Antisense Therapeutics Limited (ASX:ANP)
Antisense-focused biotech firm ANP skyrocketed 26.1 percent after receiving US FDA grants for its Rare Pediatric Disease Designation (RPDD) to ATL1102 for the treatment of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).

Pure Foods Tasmania Limited (ASX:PFT)
Tasmania-based premium food business PFT surged 12.5 percent after releasing its full year statutory accounts earlier today.

Micro-X Limited (ASX:MX1)
Hi-tech innovative global health products company MX1 soared 11.9 percent after signing its first contract for sales of its Micro-X’s second product, the Rover for AUD 1.4 million.

Flinders Mines Limited (ASX:FMS)
Junior iron ore mining company FMS rose 11.6 percent at mid-week. On 4 September, remiainig conditions precedent were satisfied for the proposed farm-in incorporated joint venture with BBI Group Pty Ltd for the Pilbara Iron Ore Project.

Gowing Bros Limited (ASX:GOW)
152-year old investment house GOW finished 11.3 percent higher on Wednesday after announcing its dividend distribution earlier this morning.

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 30 October 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index fell 0.6 percent on Friday to mark a disappointing 3.9 percent deficit for the week – the worst since April.

Banks ended mixed as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) edged 1.3 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) grew 0.6 percent and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) finished flat while and Westpac (ASX:WBC) dipped 0.2 percent and Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) closed 0.9 percent lower.

Iron ore producers were also in mixed territory as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) surged 4.5 percent and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) charged 1.6 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) crashed 0.6 percent and BHP Group (ASX:BHP) lost 0.7 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector was all under par as Splitit (ASX:SPT) and Sezzle (ASX:SZL) both plummeted 4.5 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) and Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) both plunged 4.3 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) retreated 2.9 percent.

Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

iCar Asia Limited (ASX:ICQ)
South-east Asia-based number one online car marketplace ICQ surged 31.82 percent on Friday after receiving an acquisition proposal from Autohome Inc. to acquire 100 percent of ICQ’s shares at AUD 0.50 cash per share. ICQ also announced it will drawdown AUD 1 Million of AUD 5 Million loan facility agreement with Catcha Group Pte Ltd.

AnteoTech Limited (ASX:ADO)
Surface chemistry company ADO soared 19.79 percent after releasing its latest quarterly activities report with a very productive quarter and establishing key platforms for growth.

AMP Limited (ASX:AMP)
Leading oz-based wealth management jumped 19.53 percent after receiving an indicative, non-binding, conditional proposal from US-based Ares Management Corporation to acquire 100 percent of AMP’s shares by way of scheme arrangement.

Fluence Corporation Limited (ASX:FLC)
World-class decentralised water, wastewater and reuse treatment provider rose 15.56 percent after Thursday’s announcement that its Fluence-Ivory Coast project’s conditions precedent was met.

Genetic Technologies Limited (ASX:GTG)
Diversified molecular diagnostics company GTG finished 14.29 percent higher after releasing its latest quarterly activities report comprising of cash balance of AUD 18.1 million including July’s capital raise of AUD 7.2 million.

The S&P/ASX200 Index finished on a low, losing 1.6 percent amidst uncertainty in COVID-19 status worldwide.

Banks continues its losing streak as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) plunged 2.8 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) crashed 2.4 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) retreated 2 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) dumped 1.5 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) dipped 0.5 percent.

One of Australia’s leading independent platform providers and investment administrators, XPL skyrocketed 187.9 percent after they entered into a binding Scheme Implementation Agreement with HUB24 Limited (ASX:HUB) as the latter looks to acquire 100 percent of XPL’s shares.

Credit Clear Limited (ASX:CCR)
Newly-listed Australian receivables management solution provider CCR continues its fine second trading day on the ASX with a decent 16.4 percent increase. CCR is a FinTech founded in 2017 who has developed a proprietary digital billing and communication technology platform which allows organisations to manage communications and payment arrangements with their customers through an interactive digital and mobile interface as part of a full-service receivables suite of services.

4DS Memory Limited (ASX:4DS)
Semiconductor development company of non-volatile memory technology, 4DS surged 15.4 percent after releasing its annual report to its shareholders.

BluGlass Limited (ASX:BLG)
Australian semiconductor technology developer BLG jumped 15 percent after announcing that they are to contribute laser diode development to Yale University for US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) program.

Droneshield Limited (ASX:DRO)

The S&P/ASX200 Index rebounded slightly from Tuesday’s slump to finish 0.1 percent higher.

Major banks were in the red as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) plunged 2.7 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) crashed 1.7 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) retreated 1.4 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) fell 1.1 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) lost 0.4 percent.
