The S&P/ASX200 Index clawed back 1.1 percent on Tuesday, lifted by the major banks, miners and biopharceutical giant, CSL (ASX:CSL) who finished 2.1 percent higher.
Banks led the charge as National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) both jumped 1.7 percent,Westpac (ASX:WBC) added 1.6 percent and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) improved 1.3 percent.
Iron ore miners had a good field day as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) rallied 3.5 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) rose 1.4 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) firmed 0.9 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) gained 0.7 percent.
‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector continues its downward spiral post-Paypal’s entry as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dived 3.2 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) plunged 2.2 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) fell 1.8 percent and Splitit (ASX:SPT) declined 1.7 percent.
Dotz Nano Ltd (ASX:DTZ) Authentication technology company DTZ surged 32.5% after signing an agreement to supply the advanced ‘Secured by Dotz’ authentication solution for respiratory face masks and other PPE equipment in North America. Brainchip Holdings Ltd (ASX:BRN)
AI and neuromorphic processor company BRN soared 30.4 percent after last week’s agreement to collaborate with VORAGO Technologies through the Akida Early Access Program.
GWR Group Ltd (ASX:GWR)
Wiluna West Gold Project miner and explorer GWR jumped 26.8 percent. On 28 August, GWR received mining approval for its mining and other permits at the C4 deposit enclosed in its Wiluna West iron ore project.
Clean Teq Holdings Ltd (ASX:CLQ)
Melbourne-based metals recovery and industrial water treatment producer CLQ surged 26.2 percent after releasing on Monday its capital structure update after 350k options exercisable at AUD 0.95 had lapsed.

Innovative smart bulb and home tech company BUD impressive run continues as the company grew 19.4 percent having recently announced the world-first disinfecting anti-bacterial smart light for its LIFX series.

The S&P/ASX200 Index dropped 1.4 percent on Friday, losing 2.9 percent for the week and 13.4 percent down for the year.
Banks were in the red as Westpac (ASX:WBC) slid 2.1 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) droped 1.9 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) lost 1.8 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) fell half a percent.
Iron ore producers were caught out mostly as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) sank 3.6 percent,BHP Group (ASX:BHP) skidded 3.2 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) dropped 1.9 percent with Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM)rising 0.8 percent,
‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector nosedivedas Openpay (ASX:OPY) backed down 3.8 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dipped 2.9 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) declined 1.7 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) went down a single percent.
Metro Performance Glass Limited (ASX:MPP)
Leading glass supplier and manufacturer MPP skyrocketed 50 percent on Friday. In a recent report by Digital Journal, the double glazing glass market is allegedly worth USD 27.4 billion by 2025 growing of CAGR of 5 percent.
DGR Global Limited (ASX:DGR)
Copper ores company DGR soared 13.8 percent on Friday. DGR is the largest shareholder of Armour Energy (ASX:AJQ) who just did a capital raise of AUD 15million, up from the previous AUD 10 million target.

The S&P/ASX200 Index recovered 1 percentto mark the best start to the fourth-quarter since 2015 as large miners boosted the index.
Banks ended well as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) grew 1 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) both climbed 0.7 percent while Westpac (ASX:WBC) and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) both closed 0.5 percent higher.
