10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 25 Mar 2021

The S&P/ASX200 Index moved 0.2 percent as banks and healthcare stocks lifted the Index.

Banks were split as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) rose 0.8 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) grew 0.5 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) lifted 0.2 percent while Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) fell 0.4 percent and Westpac (ASX:WBC) retreated 0.3 percent.

Iron ore producers were mostly positive as Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) 0.8 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) notched 0.5 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) traded flat while Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) lost 1.6 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector was winless as Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) plunged 5.3 percent, OpenPay (ASX:OPY) crashed 3.2 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) dumped 1.9 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) slashed 1.8 percent and Sezzle (ASX:SZL) declined 0.5 percent.

  6. McPherson’s Limited (ASX:MCP) +15.6 percent

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 24 Mar 2021

The S&P/ASX200 advanced 0.5 percent as most sectors were in the green on Wednesday.

Banks were split as Westpac (ASX:WBC) retreated 1 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) slid 0.4 percent while Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) surged 1.9 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) grew 0.3 percent and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) traded flat.

Iron ore producers were also divided as Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) soared 1.8 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) jumped 1 percent while Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) cut 0.3 percent and BHP Group (ASX:BHP) ditched 0.2 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished mostly lower as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) plunged 4.3 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) crashed 1.5 percent, OpenPay (ASX:OPY) dumped 1.2 percent while Splitit (ASX:SPT) rose 1.8 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) added 0.3 percent.

The S&P/ASX200 Index dipped 0.1 percent on Tuesday as gains in Communications and Utilities are offset by the losses in Energy and IT.

Major banks finished the trading session poorly as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) lost 1.3 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) lagged 0.9 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) cut 0.7 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) regressed 0.4 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) ended 0.1 percent higher.

Iron ore producers finished positively as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) climbed 1.3 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) added 1 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) notched 0.4 percent while Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) traded flat.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector ended miserably as Splitit (ASX:SPT) plunged 6.8 percent higher, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) crashed 3.9 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) retreated 2.7 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) slashed 2.2 percent and Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) declined 1.7 percent.

Major banks finished slightly higher as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) notched 1.4 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) grew 0.7 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) gained 0.6 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) added 0.5 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) grew 0.4 percent.

ended mostly behind as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) crashed 4.2 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) cut 1.1 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) declined 0.9 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) charged 2 percent.
