10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 22 June 2021

The S&P/ASX200 Index charged 1.5 percent as nearly all sectors went up.

Major banks finished ahead as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) jumped 2.2 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) rose 2.1 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) and Westpac (ASX:WBC) both lifted 1.8 percent and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) edged 1.2 percent.

Iron ore producers did admirably as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) surged 2.6 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) rose 2.3 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) added 1.6 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) dipped 0.1 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished mostly highly as Openpay (ASX:OPY) skyrocketed 17 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) soared 4.2 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) lifted 1.6 percent while Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) slid 1.6 percent and Splitit (ASX:SPT) shed 0.8 percent.

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 21 June 2021

The S&P/ASX200 Index plunged 1.8 percent as nearly all sectors were in the red on Monday.

Major banks ended poorly as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) dived 5.4 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) plummeted 3.1 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) crashed 2.7 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) slashed 2.2 percent and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) retreated 1.7 percent.

Iron ore producers went under as Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) fell 2.8 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) dumped 2.7 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) lost 2 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) edged 0.3 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished mostly behind as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) slid 1.8 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) and Splitit (ASX:SPT) both cut 1.7 percent while Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) lifted 0.9 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) notched 0.3 percent.

Major banks ended higher overall as Westpac (ASX:WBC) rose 1.5 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) grew 1.1 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) charged 1 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) notched 0.6 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) went opposite.

Iron ore producers finished lower as Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) crashed 2.5 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) slashed 1.5 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) fell 1.4 percent and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) retreated 1.2 percent.
