10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 21 Sep 2021

The S&P/ASX200 Index recovered 0.4 percent as most sectors, except Financials, improved on Tuesday.

Major banks extended its slump as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) fell 1 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) lost 0.9 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) cut 0.5 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) dipped 0.4 percent while Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) traded flat.

Iron ore producers recovered marginally as Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) rose 0.8 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) added 0.6 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) charged 0.5 percent and Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) edged 0.3 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector were polarised as Splitit (ASX:SPT) skyrocketed 13 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) lifted 0.9 percent while Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dived 3 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) dumped 2.2 percent and Openpay (ASX:OPY) slid 2 percent.

    3. Splitit Payments Ltd (ASX:SPT) +13 percent

    5. AusNet Services Ltd (ASX:AST) +9.8 percent
    6. Alligator Energy Limited (ASX:AGE) +9.4 percent
    7. Archer Materials Limited (ASX:AXE) +8.6 percent

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 20 Sep 2021

The S&P/ASX200 Index crashed 2.1 percent as major miners took the hardest hit on Monday.

Major banks saw red as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) dumped 3.6 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) lost 2.2 percent and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB), Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ), Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) all fell 2 percent.

Iron ore producers took a beating again as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) dived 4.2 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) buried 3.7 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) slid 3.6 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) dipped 1.8 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector weakened as Splitit (ASX:SPT) nosedived 6.8 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) plummeted 6.7 percent, , Openpay (ASX:OPY) plunged 3.1 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dropped 2.6 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) shed 2.2 percent.

The S&P/ASX200 Index slid 0.8 percent as major miners and banks put a drag on the index.

Major banks fell lower overall as National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) crashed 1.1 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) lost 0.6 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) cut 0.5 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) edged 0.2 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) traded flat.

Iron ore producers took a beating as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) nosedived 11.5 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) plummeted 4.7 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) plunged 3.7 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) tumbled 3.1 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector recovered collectively as Afterpay (ASX:APT) surged 3.9 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) soared 3.2 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) advanced 2.5 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) added 0.5 percent while Splitit (ASX:SPT) retreated 1.3 percent.

Major banks felt the heat as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) retreated 0.4 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) lost 0.3 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) both dipped 0.2 percent while Westpac (ASX:WBC) added 0.3 percent.
