10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 15 Sep 2021

The S&P/ASX200 Index reversed Tuesday’s gains to dip 0.3 percent as major miners and banks ended lower.

Major banks felt the heat as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) retreated 0.4 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) lost 0.3 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) both dipped 0.2 percent while Westpac (ASX:WBC) added 0.3 percent.

Iron ore producers saw red as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) plunged 3.5 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) dumped 1.9 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) slid 1.4 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) advanced 0.5 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished lower as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) plummeted 4 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) crashed 3.8 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) dived 2.6 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) shed 1.3 percent while Afterpay (ASX:APT) recovered 1.2 percent.

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 14 Sep 2021

The S&P/ASX200 Index edged 0.2 percent as the Energy soared 4.5 percent on Friday.

Major banks were all up as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) soared 1.9 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ), Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) and Westpac (ASX:WBC) all added 0.3 percent and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) lifted 0.2 percent.

Iron ore producers improved overall as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) both climbed 0.3 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) rose 0.1 percent while Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) shed 1.8 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector saw red as Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) plummeted 2.7 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) plunged 2.6 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) retreated 1.4 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) lost 1.3 percent and Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dumped 0.5 percent.

The S&P/ASX200 Index advanced 0.5 percent on Friday but could not prevent the index to drop 1.5 percent for the week.

Major banks were mostly higher as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) rose 0.5 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) added 0.3 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) and Westpac (ASX:WBC) both edged 0.2 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) declined 0.6 percent.

Iron ore producers recovered well as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) soared 2.6 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) climbed 0.8 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) charged 0.7 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) unearthed 0.5 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished mostly positive as Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) surged 2.7 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) and Sezzle (ASX:SZL) both jumped 2.3 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) traded flat while Splitit (ASX:SPT) plunged 3.5 percent.
