Wednesday’s Winners – Top 10 ASX Companies

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 29 Sep 2021

The S&P/ASX200 Index slid 1.1 percent further as all sectors – except Utilities and Consumer Staples – saw red.

Major banks fell deeper as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) ditched 1.7 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) lost 1.3 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) shed 0.9 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) cut 0.6 percent and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) dipped 0.5 percent.

Iron ore producers weakened overall as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) buried 1.3 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) dismissed 0.6 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) retreated 0.5 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) recovered 1.9 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished lower as Afterpay (ASX:APT) nosedived 4.2 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) and Sezzle (ASX:SZL) both dumped 3.4 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) crashed 1.8 percent and Openpay (ASX:OPY) shrank 0.7 percent.

        3. Tamboran Resources Limited (ASX:TBN) +13.3 percent

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 28 Sep 2021

The S&P/ASX200 Index dumped 1.5 percent on Tuesday despite the Energy sector rallying over 4.3 percent.

Major banks saw red as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) and Westpac (ASX:WBC) both slid 0.6 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) retreated 0.5 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) dipped 0.3 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) edge 0.2 percent.

Iron ore producers collapsed as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) nosedived 5.6 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) dumped 3 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) crashed 2.7 percent and BHP Group (ASX:BHP) cut 2.3 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished lower as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dived 3.4 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) and Afterpay (ASX:APT) both ditched 1.8 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) slashed 1.1 percent and Openpay (ASX:OPY) shed 0.7 percent.

The S&P/ASX200 Index recovered 0.6 percent as Energy and Financials sectors lifted the index.

Major banks rode higher as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) jumped 2.8 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) rose 1.3 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) added 1.2 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) and Westpac (ASX:WBC) both edged 0.8 percent.

Iron ore producers improved overall as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) surged 2.7 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) notched 1.1 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) traded flat while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) dumped 1.1 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector was split as Splitit (ASX:SPT) soared 5.9 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) climbed 3.4 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) advanced 1.1 percent while Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dived 3 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) crashed 2 percent.

The S&P/ASX200 Index dipped 0.4 percent on Friday to halt a mid-week revival.

Major banks improved further as National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) boosted 1 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) both added 0.9 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) lifted 0.7 percent and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) edged 0.1 percent.

Iron ore producers lost some ground as Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) crashed 2.5 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) slid 1.7 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) dumped 1.2 percent while Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) notched 0.5 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector went up mostly as Openpay (ASX:OPY) surged 4.7 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) soared 2.9 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) charged 2.3 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) rose 0.4 percent while Splitit (ASX:SPT) nosedived 7.6 percent.
