10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 19 Nov 2021

The S&P/ASX200 Index edged 0.2 percent most sectors improved on Friday.

Major banks finished mixed as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) rose 1.1 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) lifted 0.4 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) traded flat while Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) slipped 0.7 percent and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) cut 0.5 percent.

Iron ore producers performed well as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) soared 1.1 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) both notched 0.8 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) retreated 0.7 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector ended lower as Openpay (ASX:OPY) dived 4.2 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) plunged 3.6 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) plummeted 1.8 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) dumped 1.6 percent while Sezzle (ASX:SZL) charged 0.8 percent.

The S&P/ASX200 Index edged 0.1 percent as losses in Energy, Financials were offset by the other sectors.

Major banks finished lower as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) slid 1.5 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) slipped 1.3 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) crashed 1 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) cut 0.7 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) lifted 1.1 percent.

Iron ore producers rebounded overall as Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) jumped 1.5 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) rose 0.7 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) added 0.2 percent while Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) dumped 1.6 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector ended mixed as Splitit (ASX:SPT) nosedived 6.2 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) crashed 1.1 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) dipped 0.2 percent while Sezzle (ASX:SZL) surged 3.9 percent and Openpay (ASX:OPY) soared 1.7 percent.

The S&P/ASX200 Index fell 0.7 percent again major banks took a beating on Wednesday.

Major banks ended miserably as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) nosedived 8.1 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) slipped 2 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) slid 1.7 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) retreated 1.1 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) edged 0.6 percent.

Iron ore producers fell further as Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) dumped 2.1 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) crashed 1.9 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) buried 1.5 percent and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) shed 1 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector recovered overall as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) rocketed 6.9 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) surged 2.1 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) soared 1.9 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) traded flat while Openpay (ASX:OPY) plummeted 2.1 percent.

Major banks finished lower as National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) slid 0.6 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) cut 0.4 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) and Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) both lost 0.3 percent and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) diped 0.2 percent.

Iron ore producers lost ground as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) dumped 0.6 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) shed 2.2 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) dropped 1 percent and Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) buried 0.3 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector reversed Monday’s gains as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dived 4 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) plummeted 3.3 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) plunged 3 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) crashed 2.8 percent while Afterpay (ASX:APT) rebounded 1.7 percent.
