10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 6 Dec 2021
The S&P/ASX200 Index edged 0.1 percent as the index started the week on shaky grounds.
Major banks continues to impress as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) jumped 0.7 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) lifted 0.3 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) rose 0.2 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) added 0.1 percent and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) traded flat.
Iron ore producers were 50-50 again as Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) rebounded 1.5 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) recovered 0.3 percent while Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) dumped 1.8 percent and BHP Group (ASX:BHP) crashed 1.6 percent.
‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector saw red again as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) nosedived 16.1 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) plummeted 10.1 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) plunged 5.9 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) slid 5.4 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) buried 4.3 percent.
