10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 2 Dec 2021

The S&P/ASX200 Index dipped 0.1 percent as the Tech sector fell over 3.2 percent.

Major banks rose again as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) jumped 2.2 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) lifted 1.5 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) added 0.8 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) edged 0.2 percent while Westpac (ASX:WBC) lost 0.8 percent.

Iron ore producers reversed Wednesday’s gains as Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) dumped 2.4 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) slid 1.6 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) buried 0.5 percent and Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) retreated 0.1 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector was pegged back again as Afterpay (ASX:APT) plummeted 6.1 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) plunged 3.8 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) crashed 3.2 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) ditched 1.8 percent while Openpay (ASX:OPY) rebounded 2.1 percent.
