10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 17 Feb 2022

The S&P/ASX200 Index edged 0.2 percent as the Healthcare sector jumped nearly 3 percent on Thursday.

Major banks finished higher overall as Westpac (ASX:WBC) lifted 0.9 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) added 0.7 percent Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) added 0.4 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) gained 0.2 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) fell 0.7 percent.

Iron ore producers
rebounded mostly as Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) climbed 1.5 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) notched 1.4 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) charged 1.2 percent while Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) crashed 3.1 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector saw red as Block (ASX:SQ2) nosedived 6.4 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) plummeted 5.3 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) plunged 4.5 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) cut 2.2 percent while Openpay (ASX:OPY) traded flat.

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 15 Feb 2022

The S&P/ASX200 Index rebounded 1.1 percent as the Healthcare sector charged over 6.2 percent on Wednesday.

Major banks mostly recovered from Tuesday’s slump as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) charged 1.6 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) lifted 1.1 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) rose 1 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) added 0.7 percent while Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) fell 0.9 percent.

Iron ore producers
saw red again as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) dumped 2 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) slid 1.8 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) cut 0.6 percent and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) dipped 0.2 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished stronger as Openpay (ASX:OPY) surged 5 percent, Block (ASX:SQ2) climbed 1.8 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) notched 0.5 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) advanced 0.4 percent while Splitit (ASX:SPT) traded flat.

The S&P/ASX200 Index dipped 0.5 percent as the Energy and Utilities sectors put a drag on the index.

Major banks reversed Monday’s gains as Westpac (ASX:WBC) dumped 3.4 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) crashed 1.4 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) cut 0.6 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) retreated 0.2 percent while National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) traded flat.

Iron ore producers
fell deeper as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) plunged 5.1 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) slid 2.3 percent,  BHP Group (ASX:BHP) and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) both lost 0.3 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished lower overall as Openpay (ASX:OPY) plummeted 3.6 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) declined 2.5 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) ditched 0.4 percent while Block (ASX:SQ2) rose 4.2 percent and Splitit (ASX:SPT) added 2.7 percent.

Major banks were all green as Westpac (ASX:WBC) climbed 4.8 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) charged 2 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) added 1.5 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) rose 1.4 percent and Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) edged 0.5 percent.

Iron ore producers
ended lower overall as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) slid 1.1 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) cut 0.6 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) lost 0.4 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) notched 4.3 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’
sector fell short again as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) plummeted 7.3 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) nosedived 5.3 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) crashed 5.1 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) dumped 1.2 percent while Block (ASX:SQ2) lifted 1.8 percent.
