Monday Movers – Top 10 ASX Companies Today

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 4 Apr 2022

The S&P/ASX200 Index added 0.3 percent as Utilities, Materials and Tech all finished 1 percent and above on Monday.

Major banks were below par as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) crashed 1.5 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) and Westpac (ASX:WBC) both slid 1.2 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) dipped 0.1 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) advanced 1.3 percent.

Iron ore producers finished stronger as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) jumped 1.9 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) lifted 1.2 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) climbed 1 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) edged 0.7 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector saw red as Block (ASX:SQ2) plunged 2.6 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) ditched 1.4 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) dumped 1 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) retreated 0.7 percent while Splitit (ASX:SPT) traded flat.

    3. Sayona Mining Limited (ASX:SYA) 32 percent

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 1 Apr 2022

The S&P/ASX200 Index retreated 0.1 percent as there was mixed performance from the sectors on Friday.

Major banks fell further as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) dumped 1.5 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) and Westpac (ASX:WBC) ditched 1.2 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) dipped percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) rebounded 1.3 percent.

Iron ore producers performed well as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) lifted 1.9 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) climbed 1.2 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) notched 1 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) gained 0.7 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector was in the red as Block (ASX:SQ2) plunged 2.6 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) crashed 1.4 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) slid 1 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) buried 0.7 percent while Splitit (ASX:SPT) traded flat.

Major banks had its fine run halted as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) slid 1.8 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) crashed 1.2 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) retreated 1.1 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) fell 1 percent and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) lost 0.1 percent。

Iron ore producers were mostly higher as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) soared 4.3 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) surged 2.3 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) climbed 1.9 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) ditched 0.5 percent.

Major banks continues its winning streak as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) jumped 2.1 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) gained 0.9 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) lifted 0.8 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) climbed 0.7 percent while Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) traded flat.
