10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 5 August 2020

The S&P/ASX 200 Index retreated 0.6 percent after recording its deadliest day of COVID-19 pandemic in the worst-hit state of Victoria.

Amongst large caps and health care stocks that took the tumble such as Suncorp (ASX:SUN) fell 3.7 percent, ResMed (ASX:RMD) dipped 2.9 percent, Cochlear (ASX:COH) lost 2.8 percent and QBE Insurance Group (ASX:QBE) closed 2.4 percent down.

Gold miners bucked the trend as the precious metal broke USD 2,000 per ounce for the first time as Northern Star Resources (ASX:NST) rose 4.3 percent, Evolution Mining (ASX:EVN) gained 3.7 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) improved 2.9 percent.

E-commerce and work-from-home stocks performed as well as Goodman Group (ASX:GMG) firmed 1.5 percent and Redbubble (ASX:RBL) jumped 7.8 percent.

Alterity Therapeutics (ASX:ATH)
Neurodegenerative diseases-focused health care play ATH jumped 39 percent today after positive animal study results of its ATH434 against Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) — an atypical form of Parkinson’s disease.

Auteco Minerals (ASX:AUT)
Emerging gold explorer AUT surged 22.9 percent after recent announcements that it is advancing its strategy to upgrade the gold inventory at its Pickle Crow project in Ontario, Canada, with the arrival of a second rig and the setting up of a 24-person camp for year-round exploration. LiveHire (ASX:LVH)
Recruitment and talent mobility software provider LVH soared 21.2 percent having recently announced its cash receipts increased 43% YoY to AUD 4.5 million for the full fiscal year ended in June while software-as-a-service annualised recurring revenue was AUD 3.5 million in the June quarter, a YoY increase of 38%. Proteomics International Labs (ASX:PIQ)
Pioneering medical tech company PIQ rose 20.2 percent after its recent announcement that its IP portfolio PromarkerD now secured patents for Brazil and Canada to add it its list from USA, Europe, Australia, China, Indonesia, Russia, Singapore and Japan.

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 14 October 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index halted its winning streak to lose 0.3 percent at mid-week as banks and commodity stocks dragged the index.

Major banks were in the red as Westpac (ASX:WBC) retreated 1.4 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) fell 1.3 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) both lost 1 percent. Only Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) traded 0.2 percent higher.

Iron ore miners were laggards as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) dived 1.4 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) dumped 1.3 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) trailed 0.7 percent and BHP Group (ASX:BHP) dipped 0.8 percent.

BNPL sector finished mixed as Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) plunged 4.1 percent, Sezzle (AX:SZL) crashed 1.3 and Splitit (ASX:SPT) slid 0.7 percent. Meanwhile, Afterpay (ASX:APT) jumped 1.7 percent and Openpay Group (ASX:OPY) firmed 0.3 percent.

Castile Resources Limited (ASX:CST)
Oz-based gold and copper-zine-silver explorer rose 20.6 percent after announcing a stunning gold intercept from its flagship Rover 1 project located at the township of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory.

Estrella Resources Limited (ASX:ESR)
WA-based gold and nickel explorer continues its impressive run to jump 20.5 percent after a significant massive nickel sulphide discovery at its Carr Boyd project last week.

Azure Minerals Limited (ASX:AZS)
WA- and Mexico-based AZS finished 19.7 percent higher after appointing Mr. Wayne Bramwellhas as a non-executive director of the Company. Mr Bramwell (BSc (Extractive Metallurgy), Grad Dip Bus, MSc (Min. 10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 13 October 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index extended its incredible streak to close 1 percent higher with the banks leading the charge.

Banks carried the index as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) surged 2.7 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) soared 2.2 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) edged 2 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) both finished 1.1 percent higher.

Iron ore miners bucked the trend as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) retreated 1.4 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) both dipped 0.4 percent, while Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) closed flat.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector were mostly in the red as Splitit (ASX:SPT) plunged 3.8 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) fell 2.3 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) lost 2.2 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) slid 1.1 percent, while Afterpay (ASX:APT) jumped 2.7 percent.

Troy Resources Limited (ASX:TRY)
South America- and -based junior gold explorer soared 36.4 percent after its second hole from the three-hole drilling program to define an initial Ore Reserve at Smarts Underground has returned a world class, spectacular drilling result.

Ardiden Limited (ASX:ADV)
Canadian-based gold-focused explorer CDV surged 30.8 percent after it had its tier-1 large-scale structural targets for gold mineralisation defined in detail across Brownfields ground at New Patricia, directly along strike of Barrick’s Golden Patricia underground gold mine.

BluGlass Limited (ASX:BLG)
Australian semiconductor technology developer BLG rose 19.7 percent after providing its latest business update on its laser diode product development. The laser diode business unit has made progress in all three of its development areas: technology, product development and manufacturing preparedness.

Thorn Group Limited (ASX:TGA)
Australia’s leading financial service providers TGA gained 19.1 percent after on Monday, put $54.1 million of free cash to use through a $24.2 million special dividend.

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 12 October 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index charged into a sixth-day winning streak on Monday, closing 0.5 percent higher with a huge boost from the major banks.

Banks were in rosy territory as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) surged 2 percent, Westpac Banking Corp (ASX:WBC) jumped 1.9 percent, , National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) rose 1.6 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) firmed 1.3 percent.

Iron ore miners mostly saw red as Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) dipped 0.9 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) fell 0.5 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) slid 0.4 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) gained 1.7 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ performed well on Monday as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) flew 6.2 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) added 4.6 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) jumped 2.8 percent and Openpay (ASX:OPY) added 1.3 percent.

WA-based gold and nickel explorer continues its impressive run to surge 28.1 percent after a significant massive nickel sulphide discovery at its Carr Boyd project last week.

Brockman Mining Limited (ASX:BCK)
Junior iron ore miner soared 26.1 percent. BCK’s hematite projects are located in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia, adjacent to the core tenements of Western Australia’s other major iron ore developers.

Link Administration Holdings Limited (ASX:LNK)
