10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 20 October 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index finished lower by 0.7 percent on Tuesday as certainty in the US presidential elections compounded with rising cases of COVID-19 in Europe.

Banks were a drag on the index as Westpac (ASX:WBC) plunged 1.4 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) succumbed 1.2 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) retreated 1.1 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) lost 1 percent and Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) finished 0.9 percent lower.

Iron ore miners showed weakness as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) dived 1.6 percent and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) threw away 1.5 percent. Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) both rose 0.6 percent, however.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector were mostly positive as Afterpay (ASX:APT) jumped 4.5 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) registered 4.4 percent, Splitit (ASX:SPT) gained 2.7 percent while Sezzle (ASX:SZL) fell 0.9 percent and Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) slid 1.4 percent.

Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

Sunland Group Limited (ASX:SDG)
Queensland-based real estate developer SGD skyrocketed 46.6 percent after announcing a strategic plan after review with its board of directors which comprises of a sale of inventory and completion of certain projects.

GBM Resources Limited (ASX:GBZ)
Gold and copper focused explorer GBZ surged 36.7 percent after Monday’s strategic acquisition of Yandan Gold Project and conditional placement to raise AUD 5.4 million.

Weebit Nano Limited (ASX:WBT)
Israeli-founded nano tech company WBT soared 22.5 percent having recently completed its stabilisation process for its ReRAM tech.

Supply Network Limited (ASX:SNL)
Oz and NZ-based commercial vehicle aftermarket parts provider SNL jumped 22 percent given its fundamentals are looking strong at this stage – with industry-average of 14 percent net income growth and a staggering 23 percent ROE given the industry average is only 6.3 percent.

8VI Holdings Limited (ASX:8VI)
Singapore-based financial educator that provides a smart stock analysis and screening tool, 8VI rose 20.6 percent. 8VI has a decent ROE of 15 percent given the market average of 9.1 percent although 5-year earnings has tanked 40 percent.

Monday Movers – Top 10 ASX Companies Today

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 23 November 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index added 0.3 percent to start off the trading week on the right foot.

Banks performed mixed as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) climbed 2.2 percent, Westpac Banking Corp (ASX:WBC) firmed 0.1 percent and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) traded flat. Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) slid 0.5 percent and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) reduced 0.3 percent. 

Iron ore miners were all winners as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) soared 3.9 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) surged 2.5 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) jumped 1.4 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) added 0.9 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ were split half-in-half as Splitit (ASX:SPT) fell 1.9 percent and Openpay (ASX:OPY) lost 1.5 percent while Afterpay (ASX:APT) ascended 1.1 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) rose 0.8 percent and Zip Co (ASX:Z1p) uplifted 0.3 percent.

Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

NSX Limited (ASX:NSX)
Australian National Stock Exchange operator NSX rocketed 45.3 percent after its proprietary Trade Acceptance Service(TAS) went live today.

Webcentral Group Limited (ASX:WCG)
Australia’s largest full-service digital services partner for small and medium businesses WCG surged 38.1 percent after announcing the  resignation of Mr Mark Licciardo of Mertons Corporate Services as Company Secretary effective 19 November 2020 following the off-market takeover by 5G Networks Limited (5GN) and the announcement on13 November 2020 of the appointment of Mr Glen Dymond and Mr Michael Wilton as Joint Company Secretaries.

Suvo Strategic Minerals Limited (ASX:SUV)
Dual commodity Australian exploration and mining company SUV soared 34.6 percent after stating its intention  to Acquire Imerys’ Australian Kaolin Mining Operations.

Zeta Resources Limited (ASX:ZER)
Resource-focused investment company in explorers and miners ZER jumped 33.3 percent after its successful sale of its majority stake in Bligh Resources in July 2019, the biggest change in Zeta’s portfolio during the year was the increased shareholding in Horizon Gold (ASX:HRN). (Source: StockHead)

Galan Lithium Limited (ASX:GLN)
Argentina-based lithium brine explorer GLN rose 30.6 percent after recently increasing its Hombre Muerto West (HMW) lithium brine project resource to more than 2 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE). (Source: Small Caps)

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 20 November 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index dipped 0.1 percent on Friday to finish 2.1 percent higher for the week and 10.3 percent higher month-to-date.

Banks were mostly in the green as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) edged 1.4 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) both firmed 0.1 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) fell 1 percent and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) finished 0.5 percent lower.


Iron ore producers
were mixed as BHP Group (ASX:BHP) lost 1 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) crashed 0.8 percent while Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) traded flat and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) ended 0.5 percent positive.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’
sector was all under par except Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) adding 1.8 percent. Splitit (ASX:SPT) plunged 2.2 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) slid 0.7 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) fizzled 0.6 percent and Afterpay (ASX:APT) retreated 0.3 percent.

Top 10 Performing ASX Companies Today With Market Cap Above AUD 50M

Gateway Mining Limited (ASX:GML)
WA-based gold explorer GML rocketed 50 percent after significant new high grade gold discovery at Gidgee.

Japara Healthcare Limited (ASX:JHC)
One of the largest and most respected providers of residential aged care and retirement living in Australia, JHC surged 27.4 percent as another aged home provider, REG, were also in the spotlight today after attracting takeover bids from SOL.

NSX Limited (ASX:NSX)
Australian National Stock Exchange operator NSX soared 26.2 percent having recovered from a technical glitch Monday which forced the exchange to abandon trading mid-way through the session.

DevEx Resources Limited (ASX:DEV)
WA and NSW-based precious and based metals explorer DEV jumped 23.9 percent having recently received positive drill results from its NSW projects.

Regis Healthcare Limited (ASX:REG)
Another Australian aged care operator REG rose 23.4 percent after rejecting a non-binding indicative proposal from Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Company Limited (WHSP) and Ashburn Pty Limited (Ashburn).

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 18 November 2020

The S&P/ASX200 Index grew 0.5 percent after some headwind from major banks.

Major banks were mostly winners as Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) added 2.9 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) rose 2.3 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) jumped 2.1 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) firmed 1.3 percent while Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) dipped 0.4 percent.

Iron ore miners finished in the red as Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) declined 0.7 percent, Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) fell 0.6 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) slid 0.5 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) firmed 0.2 percent.

BNPL sector finished slightly below par as Splitit (ASX:SPT) dumped 2.2 percent, Sezzle (AX:SZL) lagged 2 percent, Afterpay (ASX:APT) lost 1.3 percent, Zip Co (ASX:Z1P) downed 1.2 percent and Openpay Group (ASX:OPY) finished 0.4 percent lower.

Australis Oil & Gas Limited (ASX:ATS)
Upstream oil and gas company ATS rocketed 40.5 percent having recently furnished positive quarterly results such as EBITDA of USD 1.9 million.

8VI Holdings Limited (ASX:8VI)
Singapore-based FinEduTech company surged 38.2 percent after its FinTech subsidiary 8BIT Global Pte Ltd (“8BIT”) has been granted a Financial Adviser’s [“FA”] Licence under the Financial Advisers Act (CAP. 110) [the “FAA”] by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”).

Kazia Therapeutics Limited (ASX:KZA)
Innovative  oncology-focused biotechnology company KZA soared 31.9 percent after presenting further paxalisib data at Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO), confirming earlier positive safety and efficacy signals in glioblastoma.

DigitalX Limited (ASX:DCC)
Blockchain and cryptocurrency company DCC jumped 28.2 percent after recently positive quarterly results released end of October.

Nova Minerals Limited (ASX:NVA)
