Wednesday’s Winners – Top 10 ASX Companies

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 4 May 2022

The S&P/ASX200 Index fell 0.2 percent as Real Estate, Consumer Discretionary and Tech all tumbled on Wednesday.

Major banks ended higher as National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) notched 1 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) and Westpac (ASX:WBC) both lifted 0.7 percent, Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) rose 0.6 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) edged 0.4 percent.

Iron ore producers saw red as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) dumped 2.4 percent, Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) cut 0.9 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) lost 0.7 percent and BHP Group (ASX:BHP) retreated 0.5 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished mostly lower as Zip Co (ASX:ZIP) nosedived 10.8 percent, Block (ASX:SQ2) plunged 3.6 percent, Sezzle (ASX:SZL) plummeted 2.9 percent, while Splitit (ASX:SPT) climbed 3.6 percent and Openpay (ASX:OPY) advanced 3.1 percent.

    2. Cue Energy Resources Limited (ASX:CUE) 9.9 percent
    3. Pancontinental Energy NL (ASX:PCL) 9.1 percent

    6. Ikwezi Mining Limited (ASX:IKW) 7.6 percent

10 ASX Companies That Performed On Top Today - 29 Apr 2022

The S&P/ASX200 Index lifted 1.1 percent as all the sectors were in the green on Friday.

Major banks continue to impress as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) rose 1.8 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) added 1.4 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) charged 1.2 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) climbed 0.8 percent and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) edged 0.6 percent.

Iron ore producers were split as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) fell 0.5 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) notched 0.6 percent. BHP Group (ASX:BHP) and Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) both traded flat.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished mostly higher as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) jumped 8 percent, Zip Co (ASX:ZIP) surged 7.9 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) soared 6.3 percent, Block (ASX:SQ2) gained 0.6 percent while Splitit (ASX:SPT) crashed 20 percent.

The S&P/ASX200 Index soared 1.3 percent as miners jumped over 3.5 percent on Thursday.

Major banks did well as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) advanced 1.3 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) charged 0.7 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) lifted 0.6 percent, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) edged 0.2 percent while National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) traded flat.

Iron ore producers were impressive as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) jumped 8.1 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) notched 4.4 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) rose 3.5 percent while Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) ditched 1 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector finished higher overall as Splitit (ASX:SPT) skyrocketed 54.8 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) surged 3.2 percent, Block (ASX:SQ2) snapped 3.1 percent. Zip Co (ASX:ZIP) flatlined while Sezzle (ASX:SZL) retreated 3.6 percent.

The S&P/ASX200 Index crashed 2.1 percent as Miners dumped 5.1 percent and Energy stocks lost 4 percent on Tuesday.

Major banks finished poorly as Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) slid 1.6 percent, Westpac (ASX:WBC) lost 1.3 percent, National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) retreated 1.2 percent, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) both cut 0.6 percent

Iron ore producers were the worst hit as Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) nosedived 6.9 percent, BHP Group (ASX:BHP) plunged 5.8 percent, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) plummeted 4.3 percent and Newcrest Mining (ASX:NCM) ditched 2.9 percent.

‘Buy-now, pay-later’ sector ended lower overall as Sezzle (ASX:SZL) dived 6.3 percent, Openpay (ASX:OPY) buried 6.1 percent, Zip Co (ASX:ZIP) dipped 2.7 percent while Splitit (ASX:SPT) notched 2.7 percent and Block (ASX:SQ2) lifted 2 percent.
